Beautiful Styles of India

I am blessed to have my best friend Yasmin in my life. Yasmin is an amazing makeup artist from India. She is very proud of her culture and has invited me to see as much as I can. She first introduced me to the foods and spices of India. That’s all it took. I wanted to know everything. We would walk together in the neighborhood for hours discussing both of our cultures as well as business ideas. She showed me how the Indian movie and fashion industry has taken off in America. Then…she showed me the weddings.

Yasmin would do makeup for Indian weddings on the weekends and asked me to join her to help with hair. I fell in love with the jewelry, sarees, makeup, etc. We realized it was time for us to do a photoshoot to be creative and show our talents. We decided to incorporate another makeup artist and friend, Janna Sciuilli to join us. We put together a shoot with the amazing photographer, Nadia of NadiaDphotography.com. We showed different styles of hair and makeup for all the events that occur with an Indian wedding. The colors are bright, the sarees ornate, and the models were absolutely beautiful. The pictures are publised in SouthAsian Bride Magazine.
